For 63 years this Spruce Tree grew in Centennial Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountain town of Canmore. This tree has been loved by many for years. It's provided shade for young kids at the playground, a back rest for lucky Folk Festers and added to the majesty of this place that was meant for gathering. I've known this tree for years and I still remember enjoying its shade.

Only 50 original hand rubbed prints have been made from this tree. They are made by thoughtfully and gently placing acid free Mulberry paper onto this spectacular tree slice that was coated in archival quality ink. I then slowly and methodically used my hands to rub the top of the stump to expose the relief of the tree rings and character hidden within.

Each of these 50 prints are unique as handmade art should be. They are all titled, signed and numbered. There is slight variations within the limited editions, but that is what makes them so special.

All prints are 20" x 30" and are placed inside a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure it stays safe and crisp in transit.

Please note - magnetic hanger is not included in this purchase but is available for purchase in the Accessories section
