El Hefe is the dominant elk that lives near our home in Canmore, Alberta. My youngest son Wolfgang (age 8) loves watching him walk up and down our street with his harem of about 50 females. Because he has so many females he is challenged constantly. In one of his fights this year he lost one side of his impressive rack. Than is how my son chose to show him. Strong and magestic, with only half his rack.

These prints are made by his hands. Each one is one of only 10 made by thoughtfully and gently placing acid free Japanese Kozo paper onto his original carving he made and coated in archival quality ink.

Each of the 10 prints are unique as handmade art should be. They are all titled, signed and numbered. There may be slight variations but that is what makes them special.

The mountains he lives in and the forests within are the reason he created this original print. He wanted to share his favorite beast with people who could appreciate how impressive El Hefe was this rutting season.

All prints are 11" x 14" and placed inside a clear cellophane bag along with cardstock behind to keep it crisp in transit.

Please note matting and framing is not included in this purchase.
